England Golf Creating a new microsite for Get Into Golf
A new campaign from England Golf to inspire new golfers and make the game as accessible and inclusive as possible.
England Golf has several initiatives to support a diverse range of skill levels and abilities and promote golf to new audiences.
Challenging traditional perceptions of golf, England Golf launched the Get into Golf campaign to dispel the stigmas surrounding the sport, demonstrating its true inclusivity and accessibility.
Optima worked within the client's existing brand guidelines to craft a fun and welcoming website designed to attract people of all ages who are interested in starting golf. This new site provides a source of confidence for newcomers, featuring inspirational stories from fellow beginners and resources offering all the initial guidance needed to begin your golfing journey.
Inspiring stories from the golfing community
The Get into Golf website promotes the benefits of taking part in the game such as physical activity, a sense of community and connections, as well as the stress relief and mood-boosting benefits. The site also features inspiring stories from golfers in videos describing how the sport has touched their lives.
As well as promoting the benefits of embracing golf as a hobby, the site is a valuable source for beginners, providing tips and explanations of golf terms, which can sometimes be a little bewildering when first taking up the sport.
England Golf also actively support clubs on a local level. The Get into Golf website has a section dedicated to supporting clubs to attract new members and promote the game to new audiences within their community. Clubs can sign up for the Get into Golf booking system, highlighting local clubs to prospective golfers through location services.
